Read to an Orphan is Coming...
Did you know that your pets love to be read to and reading aloud helps kids become fluent readers?
Join the GFRC and the Great Falls Animal Shelter on November 12th for our 2011 Read to an Orphan event. We will be hosting our two- and four-legged friends for an hour of reading, treats and bonding. Meet us in the Times Square Atrium (525 Central Ave.) at 1:00.
Bring your favorite kids to meet new friends and choose free books. This is a great way for a family that is looking for a kid-friendly pet to see orphaned animals interact with kids.
In the interest of promoting pet adoption, we ask that you do not bring your own animals to this event.
